For what use? Bean bag toss or bean bag chair? Any tightly woven or even knitted fabric will do. I would shop the remnant section of any store that sells fabric - you can get a deal for nice fabric! If for a chair I would sew a muslin liner, fill the stuffing / beans in that and cover with a sturdy woven fabric that can take the wear and tear. Plus include a zipper so it can be laundered when needed.

Duck material
Hello Lynn; When I have made these, I have always used a heavy duty fabric that can be washed and roughly played with. Old Denim is perfect for this.
I hope that this helps you!!! Take Care!
We have a bean bag toss game. My wife used old denim jeans filled with real beans. They have worked for years, but keep them dry! They will mold and rot if they get wet.
I have used old denim. Seems to work the best for me as far as lasting
You are Welcome, Lynn! Rest of Luck with these beanbags!!
