So the home I am getting ready to move into has dark blue walls. I am wondering what colors I can use to decorate my babies nursery with to still look cute? Thank you.

Hi Tara M! Orange is a very complimentary color for dark blue. You can use most shades of it like peaches or corals. And add some white or cream to brighten it up. You can also use lighter shades of blue with some white or cream...go to a paint department and start putting together the color sample cards to see what you like. Enjoy exploring with colors for your baby's room!

If you can't paint use as much white as possible to lighten it up. White crib and shelving, white print or striped curtains, bedding that is mostly white, pictures with white frames. Be careful to not get too much color fighting with the blue.

I tried to add Pottery Barn links to bedding that would look good with navy blue walls but Hometalk wouldn't allow the links. You could look them up. Asher bear bedding set. Peanuts baby bedding. Organic Hudson sailboat crib fitted sheet. Don't worry it will be good.

Use a soft coral. It will help lighten and won’t be as dark as orange. With some sea foam green mixed in, it becomes gender neutral.

Yellow, red, white, gray, biege, orange, green, neon colors or muted ------ Lots of colors go with navy blue: light blue, yellow, pink, light green, and white are always safe. Red is good. You can also pair navy with black or brown.

I had navy walls in my sons room and we had beige or tan.
