Pinterest is THE go-to place for decorating and design ideas. Find an architectural feature similar to yours and see if you find their materials and colors to be attractive. Anyone who makes a decorating recommendation based solely on a description is shooting in the dark.
I still love wallpaper but it is truly up to you. So many colors and wonderful paint products and styles also. Guess I'm not much help!
Paint is easier to clean and easier to put up.
I would paint, that way if you ever want to change things up you can. Wall paper is harder to change later on and can be a pain to remove.
Thanks all
thinking of wallpaper on the chimney breast and paint everywhere else
Wallpaper every time..........
Paint is easier to apply and clean. Wall paper comes in tons of patterns the choice is yours.
For Me Paint is much easier and much way better than wallpaper however that really depends if your room is big and has high ceiling I suggest paint and also If your room is small and have limited space you can use paint to achieve wider looking space and lastly you can use wallpaper for enough space and have 3 - 4 meters below ceiling. You can use different kinds of wallpaper depending on design you can achieved something if you want vertical design your ceiling will look higher but if the design is horizontal your space will look bigger just like paint. You can check this type of wallpapers if you still want to use wallpaper http://radiancepainting.com/types-of-wallpaper/
