I need the devise that would react to any sound, typically the bass, to react activate the

lights. Between ac and christmas light box.

I built exactly what you are describing from a kit. But that was decades ago and those kits are no longer available. Instead I searched for "sound activated light controller" and found many choices. Everything I saw was intended to power low voltage LEDs. Probably a better setup than the one I made.
