Do “cool” pillows really work?

I suppose that depends on how you define "really work" There are pages and pages of reviews and advice on cooling and other pillows available with a simple Google search using your same words. Read more than one and if you are getting similar advice on several you can likely believe the opinions.

It truly depends on the person - some swear by it others not so much. If you decide to try, make sure you have at least a 30 day return policy so that if you do not care for it, you are not out any money.

I have tried every pillow and "method" known to man. None of them work for me. The gel type make me sweat even more. Anything synthetic does not work for me. In the winter I sleep on feather and down pillows in the summer, which is most of the year, I made my own with cotton quilt batting which can easily be washed. I make "frozen" hand towels that I lay across the pillow and call it a day.

I haven't found them to work. Just keep an extra couple of pillows nearby, switch to the fresh, cool pillow during the night. Benjamin Franklin reportedly did this, he actually wrote of turning the pillow over to the cool side.

I think they do. I bought these Serta ones from Walmart and i could definitely tell a difference. I also think that in this matter everything depends purely on the person. Some people find it more convenient to sleep on air pillows, someone is more comfortable with an orthopedic pillow, and someone sleeps without it at all.
