The easiest way to avoid multiple holes in the wall is to first mount floating shelves.Then on the shelves arrange the various photos that you may have existing already in frames. This scheme allows for switching out of different sized frames, and variety in whichever selection of photos you choose to display at any one time.
You can also use 3M Command hooks to avoid holes.

I recently discovered the Command strips that are for picture hanging. Best stuff since sliced bread!
Lay out the photos on the bed or floor on a sheet to get a good pattern before putting them up. Usually the main parents go in the middle and everyone branches out from there. Check Pinterest for ideas if you are not confident on placement but always make sure to have no big gaps between that causes “white space” on the walls. Using same colors or same frames for all the photos give a very cohesive look.
