Fixing a 30's chandelier

I have a beautiful Art Deco chandelier made of pot metal. Can pot metal be glued or welded to connect broken parts? Thanks.

Thanks, but I'm not familiar with JB weld. Is it a welding technique or type of welding or is it an adhesive? I greatly appreciate your input.

It's a very strong epoxy glue.

JB weld will hold just about anything, but you have to stabilize it to make sure the pieces stay together. It does not dry clear, sort of a pewter or dark grey color. E6000 is also a good choice and it drys clear. I have used JB weld to fill small holes in a tank so it will hold water. Good luck

We also have a 30's chandelier from pot metal. I had it rewired and was going to have husband put it back on to ceiling. Guess what...he stepped on it and broke it in multiple places! I used JB weld to put it back together. that was 15 years ago and it is still holding. Color is a little off but not real noticeable unless you concentrate on it. You could use some antique metal look spray paint to match it. Spray the paint on a paper plate and use a small brush.
