start with you least expensive bill, pay a little extra until you get it payed off, then go to the next bill and pay the amount that's due plus the amount you were paying on the first bill and so on.it takes awhile but it works.

First of all never get into debt. But if you are, then there is so many wonderful things on the internet that can guide you to maximizing your expenses. Even speaking with a Credit Card company or the business itself to making payments that won't leave you without emergency funds or buying necessities for your family. I personally don't use a Credit Card. I have a Transaction Register book, I keep with me. I subtract all the people I owe first, then have a balance and everytime I go to the Grocery Store, movies, or even a restaurant I Immediately put the amount in . I put the balance and check at least twice a week from the bank to make sure that my balance meets with theirs. It also brings you up to date if there might be some fraud going on. Good Luck, and hope everything works out for you.

  • Make a budget, once you write everything down, it can be surprising. Write down every purchase you make for a few months - random coffee stops, lunches out, impulse purchases can eat up tons of extra cash. For me Starbucks is a special occasion treat. I bring my breakfast and lunch to work, but try to go out with my co-workers on Friday only. I do not go to the movies or do pay per view on cable. I go to the library. I have a budget and stick to it. Sounds daunting, so do not overwhelm yourself, baby steps.
