Has anyone ever used mod podge on Leather?
I have a very expensive dress boot that keeps scuffing up terribly!!! They are a womens very soft leather. The boot shop said to add ‘rubber tipped toes’ would make them look awful. So i windered if I added matte Mod Podge in different layers, drying completely in between coats what would happen.
i already returned the first pair. I have never had high boots to fit my calves, but these do. So sad.
I even wondered about ‘painting’ the rubber epoxy from home depot on them. The epoxy that you buy to make your tools have rubber handles on them.
Thoughts???

I don't think I'd try the modpodge. Polish the toes when needed To cover the scuffs if you keep them. Consider an online search for wide chalk boots and you could buy a pair that fit but the leather isn't as delicate.
Hi Sharlene, Here's a product that may work! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tb8iH4lCOVY
I wouldn't use Mod Podge!
Good luck!
Damn spell check...calf, not chalk...lol. Or maybe I typed chalk. It's really on my mind lately as I research the ins and outs of the paint. One scuff looked like the leather steered off, much more than a scuff.
I wouldn't try it but if you do, I want to know the results! You might be an innovator or you might ruin the leather. Good luck.
I sent a correction but the curse word probably prevented it from being shown. I don't know if spell check or Brain far-t happened but the word 'chalk' should have been 'calf'. Hope you find a solution!
