Finding a lamp shade for this lamp

Elizabeth Siegle on Oct 06, 2016I have a lamp that also requires this piece. They are commonly referred to as chimney globes. I found them at this link, and in the very short time I looked, this place had the best price. http://www.antiquelampsupply.com/product/255_...Helpful Reply

William on Oct 06, 2016What you need is a glass chimney that goes on the lamp and the shade sits on the chimney. Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, Ace Hardware sell replacements. They come in different sizes. So you will need to carefully wrap the chimney (from the other lamp) and shade to take to the store with you. Or you can take the whole lamp to the store. ***** http://www.homedepot.com/p/Westinghouse-8-1-2... ***** http://www.homedepot.com/p/Westinghouse-10-in... ***** http://www.homedepot.com/p/Westinghouse-8-1-2... *****Helpful Reply

Jim L on Oct 07, 2016Go to a good lamp repair shop. Stay away from the "big box" stores... the professional in the lamp shop will be able to get the proper size chimney that you need. This will save you time, effort, money and hassle!Helpful Reply

Carol on Oct 07, 2016There are always chimneys for sale on eBay. Ask a lot of questions before you buy, in lauding if it is returnable. If you can't fix the exact size you might find a pair of identical ones that will work. Good luck.Helpful Reply
