I assume you don't want to pay the price for the exterior Mod Podge that is on the market? If I wanted to use something cheaper I would use regular white glue, possibly diluted a little with water depending upon the project and then spray with a finish coat of polyurathane (spelling?) to withstand the elements. What is the project?

AC Moore,Michaels, & Hobby Lobby carry mod podge. There is always 40% or 50% coupon online so a jar would run only around $3.00. I wouldn't try homemade for a outside project. I know I wouldn't want too because if it didn't work I would of wasted my time and have to redo.

Try Clear Silicone...outside/all weather kind. It will survive sun, rain, hot, freezing temps. I think I paid like $3 a tube at Lowes.
