How can I hide this hole?

Hello.
Awhile ago I had plumbers make a repair to bathroom plumbing. They had to cut a hole in the wall to access the pipes.

When the dust cleared, there was a lot of dust, this hole was left. I want to put something there to cover it. Something that can be removed easily if access to this area is necessary again. Any ideas?
Know, that there is only half a stud availble to attach anything to.

Thank you for your help.
Monica
The half exposed stud.
The support block.
This is the access area. aka the hole.
ThiThis is what's behind the wall.

Put a nice picture in a frame or a poster in a frame and hang over it.

Make a decorative door for the wall

We did what Pamela suggested and made a door. It's not on hinges, but has beveled edges and is screwed to the wall and painted the same color. Our hole was in a place near the base of the wall and not suitable for a picture cover-up.

I can't find the photo of the linen closet fix, but am uploading a photo of the hole in my guest room knee wall. The final look is the same. He wasn't as careful in this repair and didn't take time to fill in the gouge by the one screw. I'll get it next time we paint. If you don't have stud support, be sure to use dry wall anchors. Good luck!

A nice cabinet for extra storage would be a smart addition, or maybe just a mirror that appeals to your style of decor. You could also get some decorative paneling, and do the whole wall. There are many things I could suggest, but I don’t know what you are looking for, or if you’re on a budglet. Good Luck

We had the same issue. The access was near the floor facing the hall. I designed access from the hall and put a built in shelf , floor to ceiling. The shelves are designed to lift off. I used heavy duty Velcro tape to hold a piece of wall board to the open access. I had covered the wall board and used decoupaged over the hemp fabric. I lined the whole back of shelf (wall with the hemp and decoupage).

To access remove shelf, remove wall board that is adhered with heavy duty Velcro. Replace when done. I have easy access and a handy shelf
