How can I keep a rug placed on top of wall to wall carpet in place?
I have a combo den/guest room with wall to wall carpet. To protect the installed carpet I bought a pretty good sized black commercial grade rug with a stiff back and placed it at an angle with one corner under the daybed and the other under the computer armoire. It looks great and protects the carpet from the rolling office chair, but it does not stay in place! I have tried the soft plastic sheets used between carpet and wood floors but they don't help. All the other carpet hold things seem to be only for carpet and wood as well. Does anyone know of something for holding an area rug in place over another carpet?
