How can I make my faux brick wall more eye appealing?

I think the white lines are a bit thick. If you could get them thinner it would be more appealing to the eye.
What about running a rope light around the frame there of the entryway.
Paint the grout?
Use an antiquing treatment to soften the contrast and give it a slightly aged look.
You might want to try making joint lines smaller to be more realistic. It also appears very white against the "bricks". Maybe a grey or tan joint line?
