How about a pretty wreath? Or maybe a wooden carving over the door...or perhaps you could paint the wooden doorframe a stand-out color?
A wreath, potted flowers, a chair to decorate with the seasons
Paired potted plants beside doir, wreath, bench or chairs, flower cart, entry mat....a few ideas for an inviting entry.
Paint the door a pretty inviting color and add a seasonal wreath to it. If you have any room at all by the doorway a few potted plants will add some curb appeal.
You could also DIY a special door mat. That can add a lot of color. Search on Hometalk, there are a ton!

A basket of pretty flowers, it would have a flat back to hug the door.
I have a very small entry stoop maybe 4 x 8. When our house was painted I chose the orange door for a pop. After multiple combinations, additions, deletions I finally settled on this for the past couple years.
Play around with your space and have FUN.
