You can purchase a silk flower spray cleaner at Michael's (Hobby Lobby may have it, too). Spray your arrangement and it melts the dust and buildup away.
Dip the flowers in the hot water and Dawn dish soap and then in cold water. Do not soak them. Place a towel on a drying rack (any rack will do) and lay them out to dry. Wash the container too. Then rearrange the flowers when they have dried. Alternatively, you can purchase and artificial flower cleaner that you can spray on. I've never used that method but it should work as well.
Try a hair blow dryer. A Med stiff small paint brush. Dampen a clean cloth. Similar color if u have it. The bright reds or darker colors may run if too wet. Sometimes they dye the flowers. Good luck❣️
put quite a bit of salt in a bag and put flowers in and shake well...works for me
Dried flowers might clean differently than ’silk’ones. I’d be careful not to put them through too much stress. Just saying🦋🌹
If they are really dried flowers, wildflowers, etc., I’d use a hair dryer, set on Cool to gently dislodge the dust. If they are silk items, I dunk them gently up and down in warm, sudsy water, gently rinse and shake the water off then lay on a towel to dry.
