What to put in this huge mason jar?
I have a HUGE mason jar. I would like some ideas on what to put in it for decorations, other than flowers.
Would it be possible to get a plastic one and paint it to look fancier? It might not look perfectly like a ceramic teapot, but would probably be A LOT easier than trying to cut an actual teapot in half, then trying to figure out hanging it.
I would make a mold of the teapot and build one out of clay or paper mache. you will most likely end up shattering any type of ceramic pot while cutting.
That's what I'm afraid of! What would I need to put on the teapot before covering it with paper to be sure it releases? Also, do you have any suggestions on how to make the finished poduct really smooth? I appreciate any and all suggestions!
You might look on eBay for one. I bought a half teacup once for a display; it wasn’t too pricey.
I also recall seeing 1/2 teapots white ceramic & 1/2 teacups I believe they were either on eBay or Amazon.
