How do i drill a hole in a glass bottle?

I saw a video on DIY of this procedure I did not save and I hope it can be retrived this video showed how one person could do this by themselves.

There is a special drillbit for that. Go slow.
First tape the area with masking tape, and drill very slowly. The tape helps to prevent shattering the bottle.

When I cut a hole in a bottle I use a cordless drill. I put the bottle in the sink and let cold water run over it and drill. This keeps the bit cool. The water should just be enough to give a slow flow.
i read somewhere that you need to place duct tape in the shape of an ”X” in the area to be drilled.
Put bottle in bucket, cover with water bottom side up, use glass drill bit and don't use to much pressure. I drill glass bricks this way
