I Love that idea, Geri! I actually have this awesome basket that I want to do the same thing for over our island. If you already have a light fixture above, all you need to do is buy the light kit, minimal amount of money, and cut off the plug part. Cut a hole in the top of your basket and you've got a great looking light pendant. The hardest part for me is I don't know how to attach the wires! Ha ha
