How do make a large pillow with a pocket for a hard-backed book?

This would be for a child's classroom.

go for 3 ft squar to make the base pillow..you need a front and a back. Take a good look at how a back pocket on a pair of jeans is done. The top opening is folded over twice to make a neat top edge. Then fold the sides and bottom over about a a 4 th of of an inch. make to size of largest book you have. Pin pocket down and stitch to front of pillow....remember not to stitch top of pocket shut. then put the two good sides off the pillow together..stich...leave on opening to pull the good side back out.. stuff with pillow stuffing. hand sew the opening shut.
