Transfer it? Or mod podge it?
Use Mod Podge

Hi Nadine. I would use Mod Podge to stick the map onto the rock and then protect it. You can use the same process I used here... http://www.recreateddesigns.com/2018/02/mod-podge-furniture-upcycle/
I agree, Mod Podge will work. Just be sure to use the right formula for the project. I recommend their outdoor formula and be aware, it takes 3 days to cure.
Nadine: (I think you mean decoupage?). ...maybe this will help

ModPodge will help you adhere the map to the stone. You could even do this with Elmer's School Glue. The key is to be sure to seal your work with an outdoor poly or shellac (clear). Several thin layers will work best!
Thanks everybody. I'm on my way, soon as I get everything together.
Hi Maybe by Laminating the map first and then sticking it to the stone?
