How do you make a swag look great to put on a glass door

Can you add a picture of what you're trying to accomplish? A swag valance or...?

  I saw a woman who made a beautiful swag for a door. My front doors are glass. I was wondering how someone would do a swag so that it would look nice from both sides. Thank you!

I did that over my sliding glass door. I hated it and ended up making a cornice board covered in the sam fabric instead. Love the cornice board. I looked and looked but could not find a picture of the glass sliding door when I had the swag on it. Guess I really didn't like it so didn't take a picture!
