I had mine made by a friend with silk flowers, red roses, greens and white baby's breath. I still have mine too (22 years - second marriage) I also have my hubby's boutonniere which is a white rose bud.

Most use silica gel these days, but there are also professional services to do this for you.... like Etsy has some, or ask your wedding shop.
If you want to air dry it, you get best color preservation from hanging upside down in a dark area like the rafters of the garage.
I used to make them! Get in touch with a Florist and she should be able to make one for you, and would be able to discuss your requirements with you and make up even something you have designed, .especially for you......
