I would use a bonding fuseable web tape....the hot glue gun stuff i have had peel off.
Hi Jody. The is a product you can purchase that seams material together, a no sew tape. You use the iron to melt it. I have used to for curtains and the one thing I don't like is the bottom seam is real stiff.
If you have a steady hand, you could, just use a very thin bead of glue and fold of the material as you go so the glue doesn't cool before. An easier thing to do is get a product call sew witch, or seam witch, something like that. Its really cheap and you can just iron it to make the finished edges. I have made many a curtain using it, and it stands up to being washed, which hot glue may not do
why would you want to do that? Just go to a craft store and buy LIQUID STITCH....you can do anything with this stuff !! Hem..etc
