Hi there, here's a few ideas that may inspire you - https://homeposh.com/wall-decor-above-curved-headboard-ideas/
Hello. I always think that a statement piece of art is a perfect place to put over a headboard to help ground the wall and give interest.
This could include 3-D elements or raised pieces as well something that suits your furniture and your aesthetic.

Hi Nan, here's some ideas. Looks as though the idea of following the curve of the headboard is pleasing to the eye.

I love the way a half round swag looks above an arched headboard. There are so many choices today from wooden signs, cathedral arched window frames to floral ones. You could even make your own.
I have metal cut outs of quail over my tv. I finished them in black to match the tv frame. Since they are individual pieces I can arrange them so they follow the contour of the tv.
Maybe some simple greenery or a long rectangle frames quote?
I think a long piece of artwork would be nice
The term 'decorate' is too vague for us to guess what your goals are.
What type of material is your headboard made out of, and what color is it? Do you want to keep with the same decor/color scheme as your bedroom and linens are now, or are you wanting something new or different?
Please post a picture so that we can see what you are starting with.
Hi! Art, a tapestry, an accent wall would all give you a different look.
What about spelling out a phrase along the curve of the headboard?
Do you have a pic??
You could put one of those crowns with the chiffon and hang it over sides of the top ,you could add shelfs and make a display to match the room .you could get a pretty picture and hang it over your bed or get white lights and hang them over your bed and head board.
Any kind of artwork, shelves with decorative items, or wall trim would work.
Pictures - one in the middle and 2-3 eitherside to balance.
