How to hang multiple family photos?

I have multiple family photos that unfortunately are different sizes and in different colored frames. Maybe 20 in number. I also don't have a lot of wall area in my new home. How do I hang them? My house style is contemporary/modern, not traditional or country.

Put a piece of craft paper or newsprint, or taped up newspapers on the floor, the size of the wall space you want to use. Put the frames on, and play around with them until they look appealing to you. Put the paper on the wall, and hammer a nail/ pic hanger into each traced frame, remove ,and hang your pictures.

You could also buy a collage frame with many little frames. The are some really nice ones now tha form different shapes. You could make some pics smaller on the computer.

Actually sometimes photos no need to put on wall, you can hang on your pot trees inside your house if u have one, make it like the decoration as a family tree.

I guess I don't have a pot tree, as I don't know what that is.

I would consider painting all of the frames the same color (black, gray or another neutral - or white if you have dark walls). Then buy mats in the same color for all of them. The sizes and types of photos may be different, but having the same mats and frames will unify all of them and look fabulous on your modern/contemporary wall!

I have considered painting the frames, but several are antique frames and I don't want to do that.

I have lots of pictures in different types of frames....use floating shelves, staggered and at different heights....I have three different shelves, different lengths. One is approx 6 ft long and holds 12 or so pictures.....

This MAY work for me. IF I can find anything except white shelves. Thanks!

Maybe you could have unified frames (I see silver or glass) made to fit the largest photos and display just five at a time and rotate the photos, using the same frames. Have mats cut to to fit frames and pictures too.
