How do I make cinnamon-scented pinecones?
How do I make the cinnamon scent on the pine cones just like the stores sell ready made cinnamon pine cones package? I can't find the right kind of cinnamon oil or other kind. I don't want apple cinnamon or perfume scent. I smell them very differently. Look for last long cinnamon scent. What is the secret?????

Our budget stores here in Australia sell the oil that you can just put on the pine cones and leave then on a windowsill in the sun. The sun heats up the pine cone making the smell very prominent.
Just pure cinnamon oil. Put pine cones in a plastic garbage bag, sprinkle the oil on cones , tie up and shake, leave in bag for several days.
We microwave our pine cones we find so as not to bring in bugs in the house. Then I buy cinnamon scented oils made for candles and wipe it on the pine cones. Works perfectly!

Easy Scented Pinecones
I use zip lock bags. I fill the gallon size with pine cones and shake cinnamon oil on the pine cones, close and shake. Leave in the bags overnight and they last for weeks! I get my cinnamon oil in the craft isle by the wilton supplies at Walmart.
