    For what Holiday?

Agree with Janet Pizaro on which holiday. You can search Hometalk itself for a myriad of ideas, themes, materials used, etc. Also, try You Tube for ideas. These sites will give you step by step instructions. As much as I'd like to help you, your question is too broad to explain all the steps in this Q and A forum.

Another great resource is Pinterest, you can search by whatever holiday you are interested in and there will be numerous options. Some are just showing a design but many lead you to step by step instructions. Have fun.

Too many choices. Go to a craft store and look around, go to the library and take out a how-to book, as above google it or search Pinterest. Now the hard part. Pick a favorite that is not too complicated. Print out a picture and take the picture to a craft store and ask for help and ask what you need to make it. Did I mention to do a small tool inventory before you leave your house like pliers, hot glue gun, cutting pliers, scissors, glue etc. ( you don't want to buy them if you already have them, ask the nice, helpful people at the craft store to help you gather supplies and decorations and alternatives. When you get home clear a work space and jump in with both feet. There is no "just one way" to do it. If you still lack confidence, buy enough for two and invite a friend over for coffee and wreath making 101. Sometimes two heads are better than one. (Hint: keep the tags and packaging together until you decide what to use so you can return what you don't use. Also just place the decorations on the wreath form till you like the look and then fasten or glue them down.). This does not cover all your choices like to light it or not, front door or window, Spring or winter, country or city, etc. that is why you want to narrow down your google or Pinterest search. There are millions of wreaths so start early finding the one you want to recreate. Most important, have fun!

I assume possibly Christmas? I agree about searching directions and ideas but it you just want to dive in try this. Start with a plain evergreen from a craft store. They'll be going on sale soon.. They'll have an aisle with little decorations called sprays. Pick some you like. Lay them on the evergreens. Use floral wire to adhere them to the wreath or use hot glue. The more you do, the easier it gets. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Until the home talker responds to the exact ideas the question cannot be answered.

Look up "wreaths" in the top left hand corner marked "search DIY" by the magnifying glass. We cannot answer your question since we have no idea what you want. For what holiday? Straw? grapevine? for mantle? for front door? When you ask a question be specific as to what you want.
