I've used E6000 this way. It is not a quick set glue. Glue a few marbles in place then tape over them (I use masking tape but any tape would work) and put the project aside overnight so the glue dries. Now you will have those "anchor" marbles to hold your new marbles in place. Also, turn your project on it's side and work with gravity to hold your newly glued marbles against the anchor marbles. It's a bit trickier when you are working with a round object like a bowling ball or light globe, but it can be done! Here's a blog post I wrote about these projects. I used Amazing Goop Household Glue, which is substantially the same as E6000. Good luck with your project! http://makethebestofthings.blogspot.com/2013/05/glass-garden-balls-diy-part-1.html

I use silicon, and it works just fine. There are plenty of examples on this board: http://www.hometalk.com/b/1210188/garden-balls

I use E6000 for just about everything. With something like a jar, you have to do a small section at a time. Place the jar, bottle or vase on an old t-shirt or towel to keep it from moving. This will be time consuming, but it's good in the long run. Hot glue just won't cut it. Or any other glue.

What's e6000 glue? I was wanting to glue colored glass stones to a clear votive. Does this glue provide heat proof adhesion and clear??

E6000 is clear. I can't swear to heat adhesion. Could you experiment? I think every house should have this glue. Yes, it needs to dry overnight, but It is the most amazing thing. If you are working with tiny items, I use a toothpick so it's not thick. I've had jewelry for years that I've washed my hands with over and over and it still goes on...and on...and on. I'd be interested if you do experiment with it, your results.

E6000 also comes in black or white, at least at Joannes Crafts and Fabrics. BE SURE TO READ THE DIRECTIONS!!! Apparently its very toxic, and known to cause cancer. Invest in Rubber glives, a mask, and a fan to move fumes away from you. I just bought some today.

Maybe a mask, but I don't think any other protective measures are necessary. I've never used a mask. I always have fans on when working with just about everything. I don't see a problem with it. Just my thoughts.

Its cancerous, melted my thin plastic gl o ves I used. Getting rubber gloves before I use it again.
