Your question is not complete, but will answer best I can. If you do not have natural light coming in through windows, electrical lighting can help tremendously. Also consider a solar tube. It is a new type of skylight that is easier to install and less chance of weather leakage around it. Sorry the complete question was how do I keep houseplants growing good and happy when I don't have a lot of natural light coming in. The windowsills are very shallow so can't put anything on them.
