paint remover perhaps nail polish remover
You could paint over it. Chalk paint works great on glass jars. Or, you can cover it with contact paper or decoupage it with wrapping paper, patterned napkins or other decorative paper. Here are some ideas:

denatured alcohol also might remove it; or paint thinner
I would definitely paint over it. Chalk paint or any decent acrylic paint, either decorating paint or artists' paint. Try it first on something smaller and less important!
Thank you
Cover it with burlap material or make it look like it's covered with rope.
you need to "de-activate" the glue that holds it on... have you tried soaking it in Goof Off and a razor scraper... Goo Gone might work too... but use it outside... it STINKS.... soak an old dish towel or paper towel in either one.. cover with plastic wrap (so it won't evaporate) and let sit at least half and hour...repeat till the decal is gone
Paint over it with chalk paint📌🎄
I am in the camp that says use chalk paint to cover the whole jar....sand a little to make it look distressed.........
then seal with poly!! Spray paint the lid if it is metal...... a different color if
you want to!!
