Make clocks for gifts! You can purchase a clock kit at a hobby store or order one online. Put some printed numbers on the disk as if it were a clock face, or put on the 12, 3, 6, 9 in Roman Numerals or counting numbers. Then using a washer attach the disk to the clock and the hands on the front. Clock kits come with clear instructions. Believe me, if I can do it, anyone can. The amazing part of this gifting idea is that you can give them according to family/friends favorite music choices. I even asked some of my family to give me any CD's they had scratched because their music preference was not the same as mine. I told them that was all I could say. They loved the clocks and really this is a simple idea for a great gifting project.

U can cut them up (mosaic size pieces) and re-apply (glue) to whatever, re-shape them into small bowls by warming them over another object, make jewelry. Check out You-tube. Tons of ideas and how-to's, Good luck!!

Take a look here on HomeTalk, there are all sorts of wonderful ideas. Go to the HomeTalk icon at the upper left, and where the box says, "Find your project," enter something like "ideas for CDs."
