Three M command hooks that come in a variety of sizes
3M products are removable and don't damage walls
Hello Ann! I've had the same problem and what worked for me was solved by a product labeled Command. Various Command packages have different size stick-on plastic hooks to hold any number of weighted items, such as pictures or wall hangings or shelves. The great thing is that the plastic hooks can easily be removed without leaving a single mark -- and can even be used again! Command can be obtained via Amazon.com or at Staples.
Command hooks
I am a huge fan of Command hooks! They can hang anything, and are completely removable. They are also available in a number of stores.
Command hooks work great and don't leave any marks.
Make sure you get Command hooks and not just the stick on hooks. Whatever you use the stick on hooks for will tear wall paper or remove the paint when you take the stick on hooks off. :)
Those 3M wall savers. They don't work on every surface but they're great. They do not damage the walls. Ask someone in the hardware store if they will work on your walls.
I love command strips. If you read the instructions for removing them they do no damage to the walls. They also have hooks. I use a lot with pictures and they have them that will hold various weights.,
