Rustoleum has a silver spray paint that micht matchyour tin backsplash.
You could either Mod Podge decorative paper on the outlet covers or use washi tape, like I did on the light switch cover in my daughter’s room: http://momhomeguide.com/washi-tape-light-switch-covers/
You can paint them, cover with shelf liner, wall paper, anything!!
when my dad and i wall papered my dining room wall, he taught me that the covers can use the same wall paper. You will still use the same paste as for the walls, just line up the paper wit the wall print, place the paper over the cover then carefully, cut an "x" in the outlet holes of the cover. fold these back into the rear of the cover and you are ready to screw it back onto the wall.
Hi, Your kitchen sounds very awesome!
I am thinking a darker color to add a pop with the grey/silver and white trim/light blue walls. I was thinking a navy or even black. Do you have accent colors going on already. I like the idea of the washi tape as easy to do over and also decoupage.

Outlet covers are really inexpensive, so just buying new ones provides a nice fresh look! I was amazed what a big difference it made when we replaced these throughout our house!
