I need some instructions for making simple soldered glass frames

    you will need a few tools and some supplies - Soldering iron with thermostat, solder and flux, lead came or copperfoil ribbon, glass grinder or grinding stone, glass cutter. If you use lead came then you will also need putty. Not really a project for a beginner or as a once off as it will be quite expensive if you do not use the equipment again

    Watch a bunch of DIY U-tube videos. They give lots of hints. It's not too hard as you can make only straight cuts for a picture frame. You really don't need everything JS says. (When stained glass was so popular, I did lots of it). Never grinded any glass....I'd practice on clear glass first, to get the hang of using your glass cutter and soldering iron as stained glass has gotten very expensive.
    If you can use someone's kiln, have you thought of doing fused glass if you enjoy working with glass.
