I want to make a miniature fairy garden with succulents in a large pot
I want to cut out a section of the large terra cotta pot but have no idea how to do that without breaking the pot... can anybody help me?

If you have a dremel you can use a cutting bit. Put tape on it and cut. You will also need a spray bottle to keep it moist while cutting. You can get the bit at Home Depot. Go slow and it will work.
