I will be moving into a loft style apartment. My style is eclectic. I like to have things that are unusual. I love antiques and to find something and refurbish it, giving it new life and purpose.

Thank you so much for sending me these examples. There are a lot of great ideas in there. You have given me a lot to think about!

  • Some old screen doors might be just the ticket! Hinge them together and line them with lightweight fabric. Can't wait to see what you do!

An old kitchen hutch could do the trick! Face the business into your living area for storage or tv stand, or face it into your bedroom for storage and add a mirror.

You can hide the back by installing one of those ceiling curtain tracks (IKEA sells them) and hanging curtain panels clear across the opening to your bedroom for complete privacy. The curtain panels behind the hutch would give you wall space while the other panels would create a closeable door.

    😊

I saw a project online where they built a light-weight fabric-covered frame (much like an art canvas for paintings) and hung it like they do a sliding barn door but with eye hooks on the top frame of the door with inexpensive conduit pipe to run through the eye hooks as the track for the door to slide on. They also put small wheels on the bottom of the door to help it glide easily but not the kind that spin around; they used the ones that just go back and forth to keep it stable.
