E6000 is my go to glue for crafts

Not sure how big the opening is between the wire, if I am even imagining what you are talking about correctly. Pictures would help in questions like this, to give us a better idea of what you are seeking. Gorilla glue is awesome as well, but it does swell when drying, but I have used it a lot for a lot of applications.
