Lamp Shade Ideas?

I have an old brass floor lamp, it doesn't stand straight up but has a bit of a curve at the top and it has an old teeny tiny pleated lampshade and I'd sure like to do something to the lampshade. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I would get a larger lampshade. Thrifts store, and IKEA. :)

I would get a metallic paint and cover up all the brass with an aluminum or silver paint. Then get creative with the shade and then Mod Podge a fabric or tissue or napkin onto the shade. Then comes some trimmings. This could get fun with exploring your imagination with maybe some clay moldings or metal trinkets.
