What kind of material should I use to make a queen headboard?

I am not sure what kind of material to use for a queen headboard.

    you could use plywood, pad with foam and batting, cover with beautiful fabric

    if you want a tufted head board, peg board and buttons, strong cotton thread, and a longer needle. cover with a foam and batting, then the top fabric. if you want something flatter and tailored -foam, top fabric with cording on the edges.

    get a 1/2 to 3/4 inch plywood. Wrap it in foam or cotton batting. The cover with whatever material you choose. Be sure to staple each layer pulling it tight on both sides so it is smooth. You can do button tufting, nail studs or any other you want to finish it off.
