If they have sentimental value, I'd just put in an attractive glass jar w/ a lid and display. Or, you can make trivets by using hot glue ...square shape is easier to do, not suitable for mushroom (champaign) corks...

cut them in half and glue a magnet onto the back and hang on refrigerator!

You can carve them with an x-acto knife into stamps for crafts...
You can glue them together and make a bulletin board. Or you can make a hot plate or make coasters out of them. Have fun!
My wife makes lots of cork items. She makes wreaths using a ring and glues them all together, she made a lazy susan for the dining room table, letters for the wall, just to name a few.
Use a yard stick, if you can find one. Glue the corks horizontal on the yard stick, and use it for a bulletin board. Need some push pins
Make a bath mat.
