Old window pane picture frame

I am trying to put glass in an old window frame to make a picture frame. I don't want to put a border around my photos. Each pane frame is a little different as it's older and worn. I tried glazier points to hold glass in, but they are showing on the front side of frame in some of the panes. is there anything else i can use to hold the glass in the panes that won't show?
this is the back side
this is the front side..and they are showing

    Clear silicone.

I like the clear silicone idea, but I would just put a tiny dab on each side so it's easy to remove if you ever want to change out/update pictures. I know you said you didn't want a border, but you could make custom backing for each picture by using construction paper behind the pictures to hide the push points.

@Mark I agree with Mark. A dab/dot of silicone (or silicone type stuff, ask your home depot expert what works best on glass). It shouldn't take much to hold the glass in place. Stay within the edge/view of the wood lip from the viewing side and no one will know.

I would have to agree, clear silicone, that should work.

There is a glazing putty you use over the points that paintable. There are tutorials for glazing an old wood sash window, just google it.

Glazier points are just for holding the glass in place while you apply window putty. I would remove any of the points that are showing, or move them to a spot where they don't show, and go ahead and glaze in your glass. If you're set on putting the photos behind the glass, you could find some heavy duty photo corners (think antique photo albums) and attach them permanently to the glass in a way that you can exchange your photos. If you're willing to entertain the idea of the pictures being in front of the glass, you can fasten them however you like, but here is how I like to do it. I've used glue dots to adhere small clips to the 3 panes. It's strong enough to hold a photo and cardstock, but still removable if I want to do something else with it!

@Holly Moore I like your clip idea, I have not seen that used before and you can give the clips any finish you like. Great idea

I bought something from Lowes called window glazing compound. You can google and see step by step how to do it, or ask at a home improvement store. but it was really easy basically like caulking.
