Painting a glass mosaic vase

I no longer have these colors in my decor, I would like to paint this to match the new decor colors.

A lot will depend on how much the black part is standing out from the glass. You would paint the whole vase in the color you want. Then use a hard roller to go over it with a second color. The trick is to get just a small amount of paint on the roller so it won't drip onto areas where you don't want it. OR an old leather trick is to wrap a wood block with a smooth material. You use the least amount of paint you can get on the material, even blotting the paint on a piece of paper to get rid of most of the paint before lightly running the block over the area. I've only read of this, never tried myself. It's supposed to hit just the high points with color.

Good site from Janet. If you have time and don't mind tedious work. You can use your current colors and paint each individual tile by hand leaving the grout. Solid paint, glass paint, etc.

If you don't care whether you paint over the black part, then any spray paint will do, even some of the metallics might suit your decor better. However if you WANT the black part to remain black, I'm wondering if you could go ahead and spray paint the color you want then use a sanding block to get it off the black part...guess it would depend on how much the black part stands out on the glass? If you spray paint and it won't sand off, you can always use stripper to get the fresh paint off.

Just paint it with acrylic paint and before it dries give it a wipe. You can do this over and over to get the desired effect. You really can't ruin it 😊.

I would try unicorn spit. There are so many colors and I think the finish would be keeping with the style of the vase.
