A good example would be those sold at Target or Walmart. No nails.

I would not attach a mirror to a door without screws.

I want to put it up on a wall. Thinking of using the moulding with a lip or like a U channel.

No screws no mirror on a door. The mirror has to be secure or you could end up with a horrible mess and possibly somebody getting cut. Unlike a wall which doesn't move a door can get slammed.

They have more lightweight mirrors that have over the door hangers. I have seen them, but for the life of me I can't remember where they were. Check online at Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond and a few other places to see who carries them.

Purchase a stand up mirror that you can lean on a wall

If over the door is over the budget, thou can use Command Strips. The velcro is heavy duty, removes easily without marking surface. Is use about 6 pieces along the sides at top, middle and bottom

I was planning to put it on a wall. I thought of heavy duty velcro but now that you mention the Command Strips that may work. I just have to make sure it is heavy duty as well. Thanks.

The will work on awall just fine. I've hung some pretty heavy pictures as well. There is also a product called "Monkey hooks" that cones in different sizes to holds different weight and only leave a teeny tiny hole in the drywall. They are great!

My walls are of plaster. I will try the Command Strips or heavy duty Velcro. I rather remove residue than Spackle.
