Ok so a few weeks ago I asked for she shed ideas. There was wonderful feedback and I even got a few pics of other she sheds, which was awesome. We have insulated the shed and purchased the paneling. It’s coming together great. Now I would love to get decorating ideas. I plan on having a little reading nook, and arts and craft area, and a little spot where I can exercise. I have lots of plans for my little space. Any decorating tips would be great

This is the paneling, Think it’s gonna look great once it’s up.

So happy for you and your She Shed. It's going to be a great place for wonderful 'down' time sipping a nice cup of hot peppermint tea or glass of red wine. You'll need some crystal lighting, a comfortable reclining chair or love seat with a soft quilt, a small table for a good book and scented candle, a wonderful pale blue ceiling with a light cream wall color. Hang white sheers from ceiling to floor over the windows and include an oval rug for foot comfort. Add a small rocking chair for a guest, and definitely a shabby chic book case for all the books you will be enjoying. Enjoy!

Love Diana's ideas but I would go more Victorian with an old small round table with doily table cloth and an old fashioned coffee server or tea pot and special cups and saucers for two. A pretty vase or mason jar with a posey. Lace curtains hung like scarves and two wooden or ice cream chairs. There are so many things made of tea cups and spoons that flea markets and craft stores have for the walls. A chandelier is a must as Diana suggested. I am jealous!

Definitely install an outdoor light fixture on the outside of the entry door. This will make it safer to go in and out of your hideaway after dark.

I would also recommend to install dimmer switches on all other lights inside. That way you can adjust the lighting according to activity level, time of day, and season.

For lamps that might be hard to reach to turn them on and off, this little extension chord style dimmer switch is a charm.
