Silver ring with fake pearls needs fixing

I have a very beautiful silver ring, but pearls are fake. Coating has chipped off, what can I do to restore this pretty ring?

    Real pearls are not that expensive. You pearl beads might be glued on tiny metal posts soldered to the ring. Try removing one with small pliers. you may have to crush them to remove them if glue is too strong to pull the pearls off. Then at a bead shop, or online, you can ask for 'half drilled pearls' that won't have the hole going all the way through, and re-cement them onto the posts. Otherwise, the pearl beads may just be glued into the metal setting and could be popped out/pried out with a small screwdriver or knife tip.

    Since you like it so much, have a jeweler replace with pearls. Cultured and fresh water are relatively inexpensive. If you really want to make an investment have natural pearls inset in the ring.

    definitely have the fake pearls replaced with real. They are relatively cheap and that ring will be priceless !!
    For the time being though..why not try to cover the fake jewel with White peralized nail polish?
