What about twine wrapped jars would you like to know?
If you're asking how to do it then what you do is: first deside if you want to keep it with the lid on. If you do then start a glue line just under the lid. Then keep adding glue around the jar, adding the twine until you reach the bottom. You can use PVA glue but you might have to tape the start first as this glue isn't tacky, it will hold the string until the glue drys. You could use other suitable glues also. You need one that is for porous and non porous combined.
Then you can add a string with a tag tied on. This can be a message to the person receiving the gift, or a contents label.
You can paint the lid.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but it's a cute idea! Hope it helps with some inspiration. Hugs, Holly
