If you post a picture of your living room it would be easier to make suggestions. Since you ask this question you probably don't have any strong ideas about art or other objects that can be wall hung. So first ask yourself what you have admired in magazines or the homes of friends. Do you like one strong graphic image, or a lot of small things artistically arranged? Do you like simple or complex? What kind of furnishings did you buy for your living room?
Décor is very personal. Decide what you like. Rustic. Modern. Western. Classic. Family memories. . . whatever. Then, choose a color palate that you like: blues, warm tones, black and white . . . whatever. Now, you have a starting point. Shop around on the internet before you get in the car. Measure your space so you won't overcrowd it or hang something too big. And find pieces that won't make you kick yourself when it's time to clean them.
