Glue the  cup and saucer together with a good glue. Stuff the cup full of batting,  very firmly!!!Take a circle of pretty cloth, and gather it into the top of the cup, Hot glue the fabric in place, and Viola!!! a neat pincushion!!!!

Make some DIY suet and mix in some bird seed, fruit,  etc.  Fill the cup 3/4 of the way, sticking a stick in it once it starts to harden.  When set, hang the cup from a hook (it will be tilted).  My niece posted this on Facebook; she may have seen it on Pinterest.  It was so cute, and a great food source for birds in the winter.  It would probably melt in the summer.
