What repurpose can I do with these advertising buttons?

My mom worked for years at Walmart and I have a ton of the buttons you get when you work places advertising different things like movies, products, ECT. You wear them on your shirt. Any ideas what I can do with them?

As a memorial to your mom, get a shadow box (a deep framed box with a glass on it) at a hobby store. Line it with blue (Walmart's blue) and glue or pin her buttons to that.
Paint them with different colors, or sayings, or contact paper, and sell them.
If you paint them, first start with a primer and then put a coat of paint on them. Experiment with different kinds. Lastly, once you decorate it, finish it with a clear finish.
After you prime the surface, you might also try decoupage and see how that works.
Use to cover a lampshade is one idea....or mount in a shadow box frame as a memory keepsake is another...
I wouldn't alter them but use as is either as suggested by Goodwin8911 in a shadowbox or even just consider keeping in a box. . those are the sort of items that seem to in time become very collectible items.
